Surprising comfort and connection

Our stay was enhanced by the friendly staff who constantly engaged with us. Clean room with a comfortable bed made staying here enjoyable. Breakfast spread was delightful, too.

this hotel has some nerves. you woudl think having a pub downstairs means a great experience, yet noise from other guests made it feel like a party down the hall, not ideal. i also didn’t receive any special treatment, a complimentary drink could have been nice — but alas, seems like that’s too much to ask. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

Had a great stay at Bilger Eck! The burgers were surprisingly good, and the location made it easy to explore the old town. Just had some noise from neighboring rooms, which was a bit annoying, but overall a solid experience.

The room was spacious, featuring air conditioning and excellent soundproofing despite being near a busy road. The breakfast was diverse and enjoyable, providing options for everyone. However, noise from neighboring rooms was noticeable, reminding me of common issues in many hotels here. A slight downside was the bed's softness, which may not suit every preference. Overall, a solid experience.

bilger eck is in a great location right in the center. the newly upgraded interior of our double room made it very cozy. breakfast was tasty and the staff were incredibly considerate, really enhancing our stay. plus, we loved getting tourist bus cards and maps from the hotel!

We found the staff to be incredibly welcoming, and they spoke English very well, making communication easy. The rooms were spacious with large double beds and air conditioning, which was a pleasant surprise. The location was convenient, with just a short walk to the city center across the Rhine River and its pedestrian bridge. The lovely Herosé Park nearby provided a beautiful place for the kids to play. The daily room service included bottled water and tea/coffee making items, which was a nice touch for families. We also enjoyed themed nights at the bar, including karaoke and quiz nights, which were a hit with our kids.

Parking in the area can be a bit challenging, but we managed to find spaces nearby.

The breakfast spread was quite fine, with an assortment that kept everyone happy, including yogurt and fresh fruits. The interaction with the staff was nice. Cute us like we were family.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The elevator made carrying luggage easy, and the breakfast spread was fantastic. I also loved the convenient work station in the room, despite the slight slant due to the roof. It’s perfect for solo travelers seeking comfort and a great location. Pro tip, bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper!
